Modeling or Acting

Every model or actor needs a good headshot. It’s the first thing clients see in a portfolio.
A good headshot requires something striking, something that’s is going to catch someones attention and standout from others.

The difference between models and actors headshots at times can be little to no difference. They both focus on highlighting the persons face. However the differences between the two types of headshot can be vast.
A actors headshot, should represent a persons features with little to no photo retouching, certainly not altering permanent features such as scars, tattoos etc.
A models headshot tends to be more artistic, flattering the subject with the use of lighting, makeup, composition, and angles and don’t forget photo editing software, all for the purpose of marketing.
